Caring Conquerors: Ministry Start-Up Information

Need for a Caring Conquerors Support Group:
Are people within your church, skilled nursing facility or campus struggling to accept a life of physical health challenges? Are they angry, fearful, depressed, or asking why this is happening to them? Do you feel your church or facility is presently unable to adequately address their felt needs?

One out of every three homes in America, today, is affected by a physical health challenge resulting either from an accident, a birth defect or from a chronic or life-threatening illness. Therefore, many of us will endure a life-changing health situation, becoming its direct victim or having it target the life of a family member, friend, or business associate. And to whatever degree we are personally involved, each of us will need to consider how to adapt to the changes it brings into our lives.

Consequently, your church or facility has an opportunity to reach out and touch the felt needs of not only the people with the physical health situations but their families as well; an opportunity to reach behind their "everything's OK" masks--ones that hide not only the physical pain but also any emotional and spiritual pain they may experience; and an opportunity to reach them for Jesus that they, too, may receive His loving hope and comfort.

But how do you touch their felt needs? Caring Conquerors is a Biblically-based support group ministry designed to help the hurting understand their challenges and through Jesus Christ lead them to victory as they endeavor to overcome their "pain". Caring Conquerors addresses the specific needs of the physically hurting: offering encouragement for coping with their situations and for improving their relationships.

Training:
Caring Conquerors, Inc. offers two methods of training that provide the leadership with the necessary tools for building and facilitating a successful support group ministry.

1. Self-Directed Leadership Training using a Ministry Start-Up Kit
2. One-day Phoenix Leadership Training Seminar
   Attendance at the One-Day Phoenix Leadership Training Seminar is highly recommended; it will greatly enhance the effectiveness of your ministry. However, if enough people were interested in holding a one-day training seminar outside the Phoenix area, travel expenses for the seminar leaders would be in addition to the seminar fee.

Cost of Training:

• The introductory fee for the training is $129.00 per church or facility (food and lodging not included). This price includes any persons your church or facility would like to receive training, plus a Ministry Start-Up Kit.
  
• Attendance at the one-day training seminar is highly recommended. It will greatly enhance the effectiveness of your ministry. Click on Calendar for dates, times and locations.
  
• However, if several churches and/or facilities are interested in holding a training seminar outside the Phoenix metropolitan area, travel expenses for the seminar leaders would be in addition to the seminar fees. These expenses could be shared.

Ministry Start-Up Kit:
The Ministry Start-Up Kit ($129.00 plus Shipping & Handling) is available through our Book Store Order Form. The kit contains one copy of each of the following books:
